Now available online

The purchasing of fencibles playing gear (playing shirts, shorts, socks and jackets) is now live online through the clubhub system. Some of you have already noticed this as you registered and have ordered items. Please be aware that until these items are fully paid for they will not be included in a batch to our supplier for completion. If you have already registered and need gear yet to be ordered all you have to do is login to clubhub using your "member login" and select "Tasks" "Sales and Events" "Merchandise" and make your selections.

Some members have selected items that they may not need and these include playing shirts in junior and senior grades. We will contact those people and work through the issue but this will take some time as we are all volunteers.

Once you have selected and paid for your gear the club will batch your order with others and send it to the supplier who will delivery to your home address. You must select home delivery when you order as this is the only option. There are no additional charges.

We will do our first batch shortly to pick up those members who have ordered and paid up to day and then another batch at the end of February. We will increase the frequency as we move through March.

We will be selling our normal Lotto brand gear, the same as you would have purchased through Champ Sports in the past. However you should remember that last season there was a change to the playing strip, shorts style and jacket colour and style. We will be continuing with the 2011 season gear in 2012 and as our standard going forward.

Online registration is now open for the 2012 season

Online registration for the 2012 season is now open for all returning and new players.

Early registration is encouraged as this helps our volunteer grade conveners and club captains.

Registrations will be open until the end of February but most youth grades will run trials in late February so register ASAP so you do not miss them. Also keep watching the website for trial dates.

Please let anyone you know that registrations are now open for the new football season. Parents please volunteer to assist as this is how the club runs.

If you are a returning player and can remember your login and password from 2011 this will allow you a very quick registration process, just amend details where appropriate. If you cannot remember your 2011 season login then just register as a new player.

Returning Senior players should register online but also contact your 2011 season team manager or senior club captain to confirm the process for selecting senior teams in 2012.

New Senior players should contact club captain Mike Trelewsky 0274-545225 before you register as senior team numbers are limited

William Green Development Approved

We are delighted to confirm to our members that last night the Howick Local Ward of the Auckland Council voted unanimously to proceed with the project to convert the William Green Domain to an artificial surface. This work will be undertaken at the completion of the 2012 season for delivery at the commencement of the 2013 playing season. Immediate work will commence in the planning, design consultation and consenting of the project. The committee would like to thank the Howick Ward for its consideration of this proposal and for the work they have done to research it. We would also like to personally acknowledge Max Christiansen our Vice Chairman, whose drive and vision for an East Auckland football future got this project off the ground.
In addition to this we would like to also note that the Howick Local Ward has approved additional funding for improvements to local sports fields, we will be working with them alongside other codes to ensure that improvements to the drainage of the Lloyd Elsmore Playing surfaces are part of this expenditure.
Wilson Hawes (Chairman)

Smoke-free Fencibles

We would like to point out to all members that all Council owned facilities, including open spaces such as parks and sports grounds are required to be smoke free. This includes all areas in the Riverhills and William Green Clubroom facilities (including the outside decks) As we operate on council owned facilities we are required to abide by this ruling and would ask all members and visitors to respect it.
