Director of Football Announcement

Fencibles United AFC are pleased to announce the appointment of Munith Naidu to the role of Director of Football at the club. Munith has significant experience as a coach and football educator in both New Zealand and Australia, having coached representative teams in Queensland with the Northern Fury among others. Very significantly he has a number of years experience with the AFF Federation Talent Centres including coaching at both National Age Group and Weir Rosebowl tournaments. Munith will use this considerable experience in aligning Fencibles with both the AFF/NZF talent identification programmes as part of our strategy to develop local footballers through all grades into the Fencibles senior club and beyond. I would like to thank and acknowledge the work of the selection committee and in particular Gary Carr for his extensive work on this appointment
